I’m worried Backster! The case has got a lot of publicity. What will happen if we are not able to solve the mystery?

Ans. If they test all the suspects on the lie detector, it might take several weeks depending on the number of suspects.
(iv) Complete the sentence:

If she’d seen the gold necklace, she would have picked it.

Vivek is suffering from cold and cough. His grandmother, Adarsh Devi is very worried. She has given him hot tea with pepper and honey. Vivek is feeling much better now. Given below are some of the grandmother’s home remedies. Vivek is noting them down in a diary.
Grandmother’s home remedies
* If you have stomach ache, have a teaspoon of ajwain with hot water.
* If you hurt yourself, apply turmeric mixed with mustard oil on the wound.
Work in groups of four. Get into the role of the grandmother. Think of at least two more home remedies that you can give to Vivek so that he can note them down in his diary.
