Fantasy, My English Reader, Class IV, Section- B

Section – B

B.1. An alien is a person or a creature who is from a planet other than earth. Do you think aliens exist? Get into groups of four and discuss.

Answer –1. Yes, Aliens Might Exist (Scientific Possibility)

The universe is vast with billions of galaxies, each containing billions of stars and planets.

Scientists have found exoplanets (planets outside our solar system) that could possibly support life.

Famous scientists like Stephen Hawking and institutions like NASA believe it’s likely that life exists somewhere else.

  1. Evidence Is Missing (Skeptical View)

So far, no clear, direct evidence of aliens has been found.

Many UFO sightings have been explained as aircraft, weather balloons, or illusions.

Until proven, it’s more of a belief or theory than a fact.

  1. Cultural Beliefs and Stories

Many cultures have myths and legends about beings from the sky.

Movies, books, and media often show aliens, which influences how we think.

But these are often imaginative stories, not scientific facts.

  1. Possibility of Microbial Life

Even if intelligent aliens haven’t been found, simple life forms like bacteria might exist on other planets.

For example, scientists believe Mars or Europa (one of Jupiter’s moons) might once have supported microbial life.

Conclusion for Discussion

You can end your group talk by agreeing that:

We don’t know for sure if aliens exist.

The possibility is open, especially with ongoing space exploration.

Whether or not they exist, it’s a fascinating mystery that makes science and space exciting.

Mother, I have returned from the most incredible and amazing trip with my friend Rizi, from another planet. We went so fast, zooming through space in his sleek spaceship. His planet was astonishing! The sky was a swirling mix of colors I’ve never seen, not just blue. The plants glowed softly, and the buildings seemed to float. The ground felt bouncy, and there were no loud noises, just soft humming. Everyone there was kind and peaceful, and they could even change their visibility like Rizi! It was truly unforgettable.
