(i) When was the hot air balloon made? Who made it?
Answer – The hot air balloon was made in 1783. Jacques and Joseph Montgolfier made the balloon.
(ii) In what way was the second attempt successful?
Answer – In the second attempt the balloon travelled through the air for short time and gently came down with the three animals safe inside.
(iii) Describe the first flight of man.
Answer – The first flight of man rose to height of nine hundred meters and covered a distance of ten kilometers.
