Answer – The precautions my family can take while shopping to reduce the amount of garbage are –

Don’t buy single-serving items, which require more packaging per unit.
Avoid disposable goods, including razors, lighters, and plastic plates. Use the real stuff including rechargeable batteries.

Answer – The rag pickers performing a socially useful task because they recycle it and take it to that place where its management can be done properly. By doing this the amount of waste material decreases and secondly these waste materials can be utilised again by recycling process.

Answer – Since rag pickers have to stay in a dirty place for a long time to pick the waste they may be affected by asthma, tuberculosis, respiratory disease etc..

Answer – I can keep my home mosquito free by maintaining fly screens on windows, doors, vents and chimneys. Use insect surface sprays both inside and outside the house to kill mosquitoes. Use an effective mosquito repellent. Remove stagnant water around the house so mosquitoes cannot breed.
