Introduction
Man loves his home. Love of home is quite natural with him.
Sweetness of home
An English poet has said:
“Home, sweet home!
There’s no place like home.”
Home is sweet, and home-life is sweet. Paradise is the house where true love is exchanged between the members. Here at home parents have deep affection for their children. The children I have also like affection from their parents. Brothers and sisters have affection for one another. Home is the sweetest of all places in the world. A poet has exactly written.
“Mid pleasures and palaces though we may roam,
Be it ever so humble, there’s no place like home.”
Present memories
In our homes we pass many stages of our childhood and boyhood. Every stage of our home-life is a scene of numerous happy incidents. Once the memory of the daffodils which he saw for a hour gave the poet Wordsworth an eternal bliss. How much sweeter won’t it be if we remember the past events of our home where we have spent not an hour but years? The spots where we played, where we talked, where we heard stories and even where we fell down bring in the pleasant memories of our past life.-
Importance of home life
Home-life is quite important for each of us. Because home is our first training ground. The home-impressions have the lasting effect upon our lives. What we are and what we will be, depend upon what we had been at home. Home is our first school, so to speak.
Sense of co-operation and unity
Sense of co-operation and unity is quite keen in the home At home each co-operates with the other with heart and soul. Offer of co-operation rather comes before one waits for it. There is full unity among the members. There are unity of interest, unity of purpose and unity of action. The goal of every member is to make happier the life of the others at home.
Conclusion
The love of home does not mean homesickness. A homesick man is addicted to home just as a drunkard is addicted to wine. But the love of home is natural, normal and spontaneous. It is divine and ambrasial. Hence, it is ever desirable.
