Answer – My best friend is a kind hearted boy. He is always ready to help anyone who is in trouble He is also very polite and soft spoken.

KRISHNA AND SUDAMA

Answer – Students will read the story ‘KRISHNA AND SUDAMA’ under the supervision and guidance of the subject teacher.

C.4. Fill in the blanks with one word only.

(i) Krishna and Sudama became friends while studying at the Gurukul.

C.5. Answer the following questions briefly.

(i) Why did Sudama’s wife suggest to him to go to Krishna?

Answer – There was no food at home and the family had to starve. So, Sudama’s wife suggested him to go to Krishna as he was great king and has plenty of money.

(ii) What was Sudama’s condition when he reached Krishna’s palace?

Answer – Sudama looked shabby in his dirty and tattered clothes. He was tired and his feet were sore.

(iii) How did Krishna welcome Sudama?

Answer – Krishna hugged Sudama lovingly and took him inside the palace. He, together with his wife, washed his feet, made him sit on the throne and served him a rich meal.

(iv) How did Krishna help Sudama?

Answer – Krishna help Sudama with a beautiful house, clothes and jewelry.

I was very surprised and cannot understand what had happened.

Then gradually I understood that Krishna did this miracle.

My heart felt happiness and gratitude at same time.

Now I come to know the meaning of “a friend in need is friend indeed.”
