SUMMARY In English: A Song For Friendship

Tara, a talented singer from Bulandshahr, travels to Chennai for a national cultural festival. There, she bumps into Vasanthi, a girl from Tamil Nadu. Although they don’t speak the same language, a bond forms between them. However, when both realize they are competitors in the music competition, they become distant. One day, Vasanthi saves Tara from falling into the sea. Grateful, Tara wants to quit the contest but is advised not to by her friend Meera. In the final round, Tara sings a Tamil song as a tribute to Vasanthi, and Vasanthi responds by singing a Hindi song. The judges are so impressed by both that they declare them joint winners. The story highlights how friendship can overcome rivalry, language, and cultural barriers.
